Brian Siebert

Brian has been instructing here for almost 16 years and has logged over 10,000 flight hours, many of which are in our rental aircraft. He is an avid aviation enthusiast and loves to instruct along with flying commercially for the airlines. Brian is a no nonsense type of instructor who demands a high level of safety. Brian is also a very skilled model aircraft and helicopter pilot.

Tom Craft

Tom grew up near the airport working as a line person when in High School. He went on to earn his pilot’s license, Instrument, and Commercial ratings in an effort to fly for a commercial banner towing operation. Tom towed banners for approx 3,500 hours all over the country until he landed back home with his Multi Engine rating and Certified Flight Instructor rating as an instructor for Whitewater Aviation. Tom also works in the maintenance shop and as a pilot for a local company flying a Commander 1000. Tom also enjoys radio controlled model airplanes and helicopters.

Brian Pohlar

Brian is our newest flight instructor but certainly isn’t bored. Brian stepped in during the summer of 2011 and already had the most students. Brian seems to be well liked and seems to really like teaching instrument flying. He came from the airline industry and works part time at the Phillipsburg, Ohio airport as an instructor. He is almost done finishing his Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Science.

Brian Jenkins

Brian is another Whitewater Aviation staple as he came to us as a co-op student at Cincinnati State College as an airplane mechanic. Brian worked his way through the shop while gaining his ratings and quickly found his way into the air as a well liked Primary and Instrument flight instructor. He now works for a fractional ownership aircraft company called Avantair flying turbine twin aircraft. Brian still works for Whitewater Aviation in a limited capacity doing instrument, commercial, sightseeing rides, flight reviews and check outs.
